What is clean fill?
Clean fill is a bin that has asphalt, concrete, soil, or bricks. The important concept of a clean fill bin is that each material is separated. For example, if you need to dispose of asphalt, concrete, and soil, these three materials need to be in three separate bins. Solid waste (construction debris etc.) and clean fill bins (concrete, soil, or asphalt) are charged differently by transfer stations, which is why they need to be separated. When clean fill is mixed together, it will be charged at a premium to the customer.
